So who are Flip Flop Records? Why is it called Flip Flop Records?
It all started back in the 90’s.
Picture the scene, you just finish school and get your first job at the world famous Rockfield studios. Within months, you’re working with The Stone Roses on The Second Coming. Well that’s exactly what happened to Nick (Brino to his mates), the founder of Flip Flop Records.
He then went on to work on classic albums with Oasis (What’s The Story Morning Glory and Be Here Now), Coldplay, Ash, Bruce Springsteen, Super Furry Animals, Teenage Fan Club, Thunder, The Darkness, Stereophonics, Arctic Monkeys, Seasick Steve, The Beta Band, Steve Harley, The Verve and many, many more amazing artists . With over 32 years experience in the music industry, Nick decided to set up a label and Flip Flop Records was born.
